High Volume Conference Headshot Photography

Conferences & seminars can give companies a rare opportunity to get a large number of staff headshots that would otherwise involve visits to multiple locations. This is small selection from a total of 250 high volume headshots taken in one day in my portable studio setup in a dedicated headshot area - In this case at the ICC Birmingham.

The client wanted a simple off-white background and to shoot as many staff as wanted their profile headshot updated. Keeping it simple and using just a horizontal crop enables multiple cropping options for designers while allowing the highest volume of sitters throughout the day - being in a high traffic area near the coffee etc and using breaks, lunch and transfers to break out sessions etc it's possible to get through a lot of people including shooting delegates with their name badges first so their files can be named for delivery to the client.

High volume headshots are charged on the same per head basis as a normal 20+ staff headshot sessions so while the cost for the day can seem high it is many many times more cost effective than the total cost of me shooting the same number but in smaller groups at multiple locations. Getting headshots done at one venue also avoids the big inconsistencies of using multiple photographers at different offices who may not be able to match styles very consistently - often clients realise this after they try it.
